The room

The photographs show timber racking against raw sandstone walls, and a flagstone floor. The cellar holds about 2,200 bottles. A library ladder runs on a rail. A timber sink bench sits beneath a cased model ship. Case storage sits alongside single-bottle racking.

The racking, the bench and the ladder were made and installed by the client’s own trades, from the design. Eamonn designed the cellar. He did not build, supply or install it, and he does not carry construction liability for the work.
