The room
A modern cellar designed by Eamonn Egan for an architecturally designed estate on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It sits beneath the home’s entertaining pavilion, is climate controlled, and combines a tasting area with storage for about 2,000 bottles.
The photographs show:
- Timber panelling.
- Diamond bins.
- Single-bottle racking.
- Downlit display niches above open case cubbies.
- Barrel tables.
The joinery was made and installed by the client’s own trades, from the design. Eamonn designed the cellar. He did not build, supply or install it, and he does not carry construction liability for the work.
