The room
The cellar holds about 4,000 bottles. The finish is grey melamine, with black suede and anodised aluminium, lit by LEDs. An island is the decanting area. Storage is formatted for Champagne and for Burgundy, and it holds individual bottles, large-format bottles, bulk bottles and cases.
This is a separate project from Northbridge Collector’s Cellar. The joinery was made and installed by the client’s own trades, from the design. Eamonn designed the cellar. He did not build, supply or install it, and he does not carry construction liability for the work.
