The room
The cellar holds about 2,000 bottles. The racking is a sycamore melamine finish. Anodised aluminium rods hold Champagne and magnum bottles laterally. Diamond bins take the bulk storage. Curved corner displays hold decanters, and the room is lit with LEDs. A reconditioned wine barrel stands in the room. The cellar is climate controlled.
The joinery and the cooling plant were made and installed by the client’s own trades, from the design. Eamonn designed the cellar. He did not build, supply or install it, and he does not carry construction liability for the work.
